Goodbye chemicals!

Dedicated to the supply chain, a focus on ZDHC tools to support the Detox commitment

4sustainability, the network established by Brachi and Process Factory to help companies implement strategies oriented to sustainability and the reduction of hazardous chemicals, is organizing a working meeting specifically dedicated to companies in the Prato district.
The initiative, which comes a month after the participation of our network – as the only Italian consulting agency – in the Fall Meeting of Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) is based on the belief that in order to obtain certain results, you should work for the integration of all players.

The most important brands in the world adhere to ZDHC table. They are the same who, with respect to chemical management, require from the supply chain not only a formal commitment, but measurable results; they are the same who first joined the Greenpeace Detox campaign for the elimination of 11 substances from their production processes and those of their suppliers
Therefore, working together is possible and pays, because between who defines the guidelines (Detox) and who also provides the tools to implement them (ZDHC) there is complementarity and commonality of vision.
The assumption is that a signature is not enough to reduce the use of hazardous chemicals. Joining a commitment such as that proposed by the Detox campaign is important and necessary, but it must be supported by a protocol that defines methods and instruments, because that is what the market requires today.

The role that 4sustainability plays within the ZDHC Foundation, its traditional closeness to local businesses and skills acquired on chemical management in terms of both product and process, make it the ideal partner to discuss the tools to realize the Detox commitment and every action aimed at reducing hazardous chemicals.
We invite you to participate in the meeting we organized on these topics on December 22, from 10.00 to 12.30, at the Golf Club Le Pavoniere in Prato.
